Kyiv Oranta Virgin Mary Blacklight UV active T-shirt

We use two kinds of fabrics, sandwich and sports polyester, to make full UV-printed t-shirts.

The sandwich is made of two layers of fabric: cotton (to the body) and polyester (a picture is printed on this layer). This fabric is pleasant to wear, very comfortable at an air temperature of up to 25° C (77° F), wear-resistant, and looks good. Great for hooded, long-sleeve T-shirts.

Sports polyester is thinner, light, and pleasant to wear, even in the heat, during dancing and sports. This fabric allows air to pass through well and does not absorb sweat, directing it to the outside. Thus, the T-shirt remains dry. Suitable for T-shirts and T-shirts with long sleeves.

I dedicate this work with great love and respect to Ukraine and its capital - Kyiv. Kyiv Oranta is one of the most famous and oldest sacred images of the Virgin Mary in the world. The 6-meter-high mosaic, located in Kyiv's Saint Sophia Cathedral, was consecrated in 1049. She is called the "Indestructible Wall" and is considered the protector of the people of Ukraine. As long as Oranta raises its hands in prayer over Kyiv, the capital and the country will stand indestructible. In the days when Ukraine is experiencing a terrifying attack by enemies, when missiles and combat drones are attacking Kyiv, this image has a special meaning for us.

Also on the t-shirt you can see other iconic sculptures and buildings of Kyiv, the national emblem of Ukraine - the Trident, and the symbol of Kyiv - the chestnut leaf. On Oranta's belt is an embroidered handkerchief, with which she wipes the tears of those who ask for support and consolation. On the top of the back you can see a quote from Kyiv's anthem - the phrase in Ukrainian "How not to love you, my Kyiv".
